I have been a practicing artist for over 35 years. I have lived and worked in London for last twenty. Originally from a mining village: Normanton West Yorkshire. Studied Brighton and Leeds Fine Art Ba (Hons). Exhibit internationally and in numerous collections.

I make work that answers to a deficit inside myself. It’s a debt that essentially needs to be paid in imagery. The imagery has to find an equal in how it’s made, the substance is as important, it should feel as though it always existed. It should make itself and appear just in time. What is it? It’s the image remade, an idea remade that connects to that internal deficit ….made of stuff colliding pushing up against itself, an accident on purpose.
